ODM Postpones 20th Anniversary Celebrations to November
The ODM 20th anniversary celebrations have been postponed from October to November, as the party expands its program to reach more counties ahead of the grand finale in Mombasa.
Why the Postponement?
In a statement by Junet Mohammed, the ODM@20 planning committee chairman, the party explained that counties had requested a wider engagement. Party leader Raila Odinga agreed to reschedule the event to ensure inclusivity and participation from across the country.
Originally set for October 10–12 in Mombasa, the final celebration will now take place from November 14–16, 2025.
Expanding the ODM@20 Program
ODM has already held events in Busia, Wajir, Kisii, and Narok counties. With the revised schedule, additional activities will take place in:

A Message of Unity and Inclusivity
Junet Mohammed emphasized the decision to strengthen the party’s outreach and highlight its values of democracy and inclusivity. He noted that the milestone celebration is for all Kenyans, assuring supporters that the final event will be memorable and representative of ODM’s 20-year journey.
“We thank our stakeholders, partners and supporters for their patience and commitment as we continue to build a stronger ODM family,” Junet stated.
